SUSTAINABLE SKINCARE

“We need to rewrite the progress. A product has to be a part of the solution, instead of part of the problem: this means to embrace regeneration and revolutionize the way we formulate, select ingredients, and design our product ranges.” - Dr. Davide Bollati, Davines Group Chairman
Regenerative organic farming has the potential to sequester carbon, mitigate climate change, promote biodiversity, and protect our soil, air, and water. Scientists and staff of the Davines Group have partnered with the Rodale Institute to find ways in which regenerative organic agriculture can influence the supply chain of beauty products. These efforts support local farmers and the international regenerative organic community, promoting the sourcing of more sustainable ingredients that can heal the earth and enhance its vision of beauty.

PLASTIC BANK

The linear economy model based on the “take, use and discard” paradigm is no longer sustainable: we must act now to reverse the paradigm, promoting a regenerative vision that allows us to give back more than we consume." ~ Davide Bollati, Davines Group Chairman
Thanks to its partnership with Plastic Bank, every product sold by Davines Group incentivizes the collection of an equivalent amount of plastic waste from the environment in Indonesia, the Philippines, Brazil, and Thailand. In concept, if every company in the world collected “their” plastic, there would be no more plastic dispersed into the environment. Supporting the removal of plastic from the environment is only one part of the Davines Group broader sustainability vision. It is equally committed to minimizing reliance on virgin fossil-based plastic in packaging. In 2023 alone, 55.7% of the total plastic packaging material purchased by Davines Group brands was recycled, bio-based, or mass-balance plastic.
