Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by the Bollati Family, Davines Group started as a research laboratory, producing high-end products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide. After a decade of further developing their expertise, son Dr. Davide Bollati, pharmacist and cosmetic chemist, joined the family in business, founding [ comfort zone ] skincare for premier spas, in 1996.

Over 60 scientists, including chemists, biologists and dermatologists, supported by a multidisciplinary Scientific Committee and various Universities, work with our R&D to provide clean, result-driven formulas, highly concentrated in natural-origin and high-tech ingredients. In our Scientific Garden, an open-air lab at the Davines Village, we study the living plants to discover botanical molecules for our innovations.


We chose not to use silicones, animal derivatives, mineral oil, artificial colorants, SLS. On a journey to remove all ethoxylates and acrylates, still present in a few formulas.  Suitable for Vegans. Clinically proven efficacy. Dermatologically tested.


Our commitment is to guarantee efficacy and safety, choosing high-quality ingredients which respect the skin and the planet. Our lines are made in Italy with renewable resources. We choose recyclable packaging, fully CO2 compensated thanks to EthioTrees, a reforestation initiative in Ethiopia.

B CORP FOR A BETTER FUTURE

As part of the B Corp family of companies, Davines Group views business as a positive force capable of generating profits while at the same time creating a virtuous impact on people and the environment. Davines Group earned B Corp status in 2016, achieving an initial assessment rating of 99 points out of a possible 200. B Corp ompanies must undergo a sustainability audit every three years, and achieve a minimum of 80 points to maintain their B Corp status. In 2016, Davines Group modified its strategic objectives to align with the Sustainable Development Goals defined in the UN Agenda 2030. As a result, Davines Group has increased its B Corp rating upon each recertification, earning a milestone rating of 123.5 points in 2023.

REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

Regenerative organic farming has the potential to sequester carbon, mitigate climate change, promote biodiversity, and protect our soil, air, and water. In 2021, the Davines Group partnered with Rodale Institute to establish the first European Regenerative Organic Center (EROC), focused on researching regenerative organic agriculture, and educating local farmers.


The European Regenerative Organic Center encompasses a 15-hectare site by our carbon-neutral Comfort Zone Village campus focusing its scientific research and education on small - to mid-size European farms growing specialty crops for food, nutrition, and beauty.


5 ingredients from regenerative farming are used in our formulas including Hydramemory, Sublime Skin, and Sacred Nature.

Thanks to its partnership with Plastic Bank, every product sold by Davines Group incentivizes the collection of an equivalent amount of plastic waste from the environment in Indonesia, the Philippines, Brazil, and Thailand. In concept, if every company in the world collected “their” plastic, there would be no more plastic dispersed into the environment. Supporting the removal of plastic from the environment is only one part of the Davines Group broader sustainability vision. It is equally committed to minimizing reliance on virgin fossil-based plastic in packaging. In 2023 alone, 55.7% of the total plastic packaging material purchased by Davines Group brands was recycled, bio-based, or mass-balance plastic.
